Week 1
Very confused!!! I wish this was taught in class I think alot of people would understand it more.

Week 2
Starting to understand it just a little. Im still getting a little confused with all the folders and files just for this class. It does seem neat to understand a little of how a web page is designed. what i dont uderstand is why I need this for my degree (Administrative Assistant), Im not going to school to be a web designer so really I think this class is usless information for my degree and could be taking a class that is worth me knowing.

Week 3
Unit c is alright, once i found how to get my pages in geocity linked but it was to cool to design it. It took me along time.

Week 4
Unit d was confusing i cant get the video for the rates.htm to come in. I dont get it!!!!!!!! Im also having a hard time trying to figure out this blog. why cant we just stick to the web page in geocity. Im getting confused with the wiki, web pages, blogs, new email address, trying to remember all the passwords and the homework out of the book which would'nt be so bad if there wasn't so many files. Thats why this needs to be taught in class.

April, we do offer this course in the classroom. In fact, this is the first time it has ever been offered online. We will have it in the classroom next spring.

Why do administrative assistants need to learn this? The web developers get the hard stuff up, but a good site needs ever changing content. Content just means -- "the words". Many times you might have a Word document with content and you need it to get it up to the company Web Site -- yes, you -- the Administrative Assistant. The more you know how to do this kind of stuff, the more valuable you will be to the company, and ... the more money you should make!!!

So, when you get your job, always be willing to take on assignments like this (yes, I'll get that up on the web site for you), and you might go far

I agree 100%. I just created a cheat sheet of all my usernames and sign ins. I am confused as to where and when I need to post and check my postings. Not only do we have to check the BHC bulletin board, but we also have to chekc our blogs, wiki spaces, geocities, and google. In addition, I have about 6 usernames and passwords to remember for work. I can't keep them all straight. Thanks for your honesty. I appreciate knowing that I am in the same boat as someone else. If we sink, we'll do it together!
